How much does a professional website cost in Spain?
At WebAutonomos: €15 a month with no setup fee and no lock-in, or a one-off €349. Hosting, domain name, SSL certificate, the Spanish legal pages and maintenance are included. You pay nothing until you have approved the demo of your website, and you can stop whenever you like.
Prices exclude Spanish VAT (IVA, 21%). Most autónomos and companies can deduct it.
It isn't a template to fill in. We write the copy from the real information on your Google Business Profile, add your photos and the WhatsApp button. You don't have to do anything.
How much does a website with maintenance included cost?
€15 a month at WebAutonomos, maintenance included. Prices shown exclude VAT. There are no tiers, no paid extras you can't do without and no activation fee. Here is what the subscription covers:

Two services can be added to this base if you need them: local SEO (€15 monthly + VAT), which adds four blog articles monthly and the work of ranking your site locally, and Google Business Profile management (€29 monthly + VAT), with a one-off €49 + VAT to create the profile if you don't have one. What does a small business website cost in Spain?
It depends on who does the work and what you pay from the second year on. In Spain, a freelance designer typically charges €800 to €2,000 for a professional site, and an agency €1,500 to €4,000, both figures excluding ongoing maintenance (Social Media Pymes, 2026). With a builder such as Wix or Hostinger you build it yourself, and the promotional price goes up at renewal. At WebAutonomos, the same need costs €15 a month with no lock-in, or a one-off €349. The real question isn't only what you pay each month, but also how many hours of your own time it takes.
What a freelancer or agency quotes you for a project also depends on:
- How many pages your business needs
- Whether ongoing maintenance is part of the quote or billed separately
- Whether the design is custom or based on a template
- How experienced the professional or agency is with your line of work

A builder's real cost isn't on its pricing page: add the full-price renewal after the promotional period, the domain name from the second year, and the time you spend on it.
How this comparison is calculated
The "real cost" row above adds the upfront price, the monthly fee over 24 months, the domain renewal and the hours you'd spend on it, valued at the hourly rate you enter. Before you compare quotes yourself, check the same points:
- Does the monthly fee change after a promotional period?
- Is the domain name included, and for how long?
- Are hosting and an SSL certificate part of the price, or extra?
- Is there a minimum contract length, and what does leaving early involve?
- How is a content change handled once the site is live, and what's charged for it?
What isn't included in the price?
Neither plan includes online booking or calendar tools (Calendly, Doctoralia, Bookitit or clinic software) or automatic SMS/email reminders: enquiries reach you through the contact form, which sends them to your email, and through the WhatsApp button. We use your own photos — from your Google Business Profile or the images you send us — rather than stock or professionally shot photography. A professional email address at your own domain isn't included either; it can be set up on request. After launch, one content change is included monthly: a full redesign or a large new section is quoted separately, with a fixed price agreed before any work starts, never billed as a surprise. An online store is available too, but only as a separately quoted project — it isn't part of either plan.
Why is WebAutonomos cheaper than a traditional agency?
Because of the way we work, which keeps our own costs low:
- Already-tested components, not a blank page for every project
- No fancy office to maintain
- No commission-paid sales team
Monthly or one-off: which should you choose?
Both plans give you the same site and the same services. The €15 monthly subscription suits you if you prefer to spread the cost and stay free to stop at any time: there is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. The one-off €349 suits you if you want to settle the matter once and for all: there is no monthly fee, and only the domain name renews annually, for about €12.
Over twenty-four months the difference is small — €372 against €361. Beyond that, the one-off payment is cheaper. The subscription, on the other hand, lets you leave right away if you are not happy, and in both cases the domain is registered in your name.
What about a website builder like Wix or Hostinger?
They are excellent tools, and they answer a different need. A builder sells you a platform: you choose the template, write the copy, crop the photos and work out why the menu breaks on mobile. We sell a finished site: you give us your details, we show you the result, you approve it.
The difference shows over time. A do-it-yourself site ages fast, because nobody has time to go back to it. A plumber on the Costa Blanca who spends his Saturdays fighting an online editor rarely updates his prices six months later. With a subscription, maintenance and changes are part of the price: you send a message and the change is made.

- Do you enjoy a visual editor, or is it a chore?
- Does your site need to bring in calls, or just exist?
If you have the time and enjoy it, a builder will do the job well. If not, handing it over costs less than you think.

Which languages can my site be in?
Any combination of up to four languages, at no extra charge. We write every version ourselves, so you don't need to provide translations. The languages available are:

The one content change included monthly applies across every language of your site, not just one.
Do I need to buy the domain name separately?
No. Your .es domain is included in the first year with either plan, and it's registered in your name from day one. From the second year it renews at about €12 annually, and you keep it even if you decide to leave — nothing about your domain depends on staying with us.

Frequently asked questions
- Is there a setup fee?
- No. There is no setup, activation or admin fee. Your first payment is your first month of subscription and nothing else.
- How long until my site is live?
- Less than 24 hours. We first build a demo with your real information; the site only goes live once you have approved it. If you ask for changes, we make them straight away.
- Who owns the domain name?
- You do. It is registered in your name, and if you ever decide to leave, you take it with you. That is an important difference from offers where the domain stays in the provider's name.
- What happens if I cancel the subscription?
- Whenever you like, with no notice period and no penalty: there is no minimum term. You stop paying and the site is deactivated. The domain name stays in your name, so you can take it to another provider, and we can help with the move.
- Is the one-off €349 payment better value?
- It depends on how long you plan to keep the site. €349 is a little less than 24 months of subscription: beyond two years the one-off payment works out cheaper, below that the subscription gives you more flexibility.
- Are the Spanish legal pages included?
- Yes. The legal notice (aviso legal), privacy policy and cookie policy that Spanish law requires are included in both plans, together with the cookie consent banner. What the law requires.
- Is VAT included in the prices?
- No. All prices exclude Spanish VAT (IVA, 21%). Most autónomos and companies can deduct it; some activities that are exempt from VAT, such as healthcare, cannot.
- Is local SEO or a Google Business Profile listing included in the price?
- No. The plan includes basic on-page SEO only — consistent titles, text and details that match your Google listing. Local SEO and Google Business Profile management are separate, optional services with their own pricing, and you can add either one without changing your plan.
