How much does a professional website cost in Spain?
At WebAutonomos: €15 a month with no setup fee and no lock-in, or a one-off €349. Hosting, domain name, SSL certificate, the Spanish legal pages and maintenance are included. You pay nothing until you have approved the demo of your website, and you can stop whenever you like.
Prices exclude Spanish VAT (IVA, 21%). Most autónomos and companies can deduct it.
It isn't a template to fill in. We write the copy from the real information on your Google Business Profile, add your photos and the WhatsApp button. You don't have to do anything.
How much does a website with maintenance included cost?
€15 a month at WebAutonomos, maintenance included. The price you see is the price you pay: no tiers, no paid extras you can't do without, no activation fee. Here is what the subscription covers:

Two services can be added to this base if you need them: local SEO at €15/month, which adds four blog articles a month and the work of ranking your site locally, and Google Business Profile management at €29/month, with a one-off €90 to create the profile if you don't have one. What does a small business website cost in Spain?
It depends on who does the work and what you pay from the second year on. In Spain, an agency typically charges €1,000 to €6,000 for a small business website, plus maintenance; a freelancer, €500 to €1,200; with a website builder such as Wix or Hostinger you build it yourself, and the promotional price goes up at renewal. A builder's real cost isn't on its pricing page: add the full-price renewal after the promotional period, the domain name from the second year, and the time you spend on it.
Monthly or one-off: which should you choose?
Both plans give you the same website and the same services. The €15 monthly subscription suits you if you prefer to spread the cost and stay free to stop at any time: there is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. The one-off €349 suits you if you want to settle the matter once and for all: there is no monthly fee, and only the domain name renews each year, for about €12.
Over twenty-four months the difference is small — €372 against €361. Beyond that, the one-off payment is cheaper. The subscription, on the other hand, lets you leave from the very first month if you are not happy, and in both cases the domain is registered in your name.
What about a website builder like Wix or Hostinger?
They are excellent tools, and they answer a different need. A builder sells you a platform: you choose the template, write the copy, crop the photos and work out why the menu breaks on a phone. We sell a finished website: you give us your details, we show you the result, you approve it.
The difference shows over time. A do-it-yourself site ages fast, because nobody has time to go back to it. A plumber on the Costa Blanca who spends his Saturdays fighting an online editor rarely updates his prices six months later. With a subscription, maintenance and changes are part of the price: you send a message and the change is made.
Three questions settle it honestly. Do you have time regularly, or just once? Do you enjoy a visual editor, or is it a chore? And does your website need to bring in calls, or just exist? If you have the time and enjoy it, a builder will do the job well. If not, handing it over costs less than you think.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a setup fee?
- No. There is no setup, activation or admin fee. Your first payment is your first month of subscription and nothing else.
- How long until my website is live?
- Less than 24 hours. We first build a demo with your real information; the site only goes live once you have approved it. If you ask for changes, we make them straight away.
- Who owns the domain name?
- You do. It is registered in your name, and if you ever decide to leave, you take it with you. That is an important difference from offers where the domain stays in the provider's name.
- What happens if I cancel the subscription?
- Whenever you like, with no notice period and no penalty: there is no minimum term. You stop paying and the website is deactivated. The domain name stays in your name, so you can take it to another provider, and we can help with the move.
- Is the one-off €349 payment better value?
- It depends on how long you plan to keep the site. €349 is a little less than 24 months of subscription: beyond two years the one-off payment works out cheaper, below that the subscription gives you more flexibility.
- Are the Spanish legal pages included?
- Yes. The legal notice (aviso legal), privacy policy and cookie policy that Spanish law requires are included in both plans, together with the cookie consent banner. What the law requires.
- Is VAT included in the prices?
- No. All prices exclude Spanish VAT (IVA, 21%). Most autónomos and companies can deduct it; some activities that are exempt from VAT, such as healthcare, cannot.
